BIOGRAPHY: Reconstruction and Employment Unit for Afghan Refugees (REUAR) is an Afghan National NGO. An Independent, Humanitarian, non-sectarian, Non-governmental, Non-political non-for profit organization. REUAR has maintained the access of beneficiaries to basic services with using the main humanitarian principles of Independence, Neutrality and Impartiality in practice. REUAR is registered with Ministry of Economy as legal entity and other sector authorities such as the Ministry of Women Affairs, the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Higher education the Ministry of Public Health, Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation, and Livestock and etc. Since 2001 REUAR has been implementing different programmes and projects for Afghans, such as; shelters construction to newly returned and most vulnerable families and has full ability and adequate capacity for execution operational, Management and implementation quality stated its efforts for rehabilitation of Afghanistan include following sectors.

REUAR Organization is Operating from Jalalabad Afghanistan with its offices in Kabul, Balkh and other small offices in different Provinces of Afghanistan.

Initially REUAR was operating as cross-border organization providing emergency relief in both sides Afghans in Pakistan and in Afghanistan and considered as a biggest local organization operating in Afghanistan, REUAR’s sector-wise intervention has been adjusted in compliance with REUAR-Network Strategic plan (2009-2011).

Is registered with ANCB (Afghan NGOs Coordination Bureau).

Is registered with ACBAR: Agency Coordination Body for Afghan Relief.

Is registered with HAP: Humanitarian Accountability Partnership.

Is registered with WASH : Water Sanitation and Hygiene Cluster.

Is registered with AWN: Afghan Women Network.

Is registered with WHS: World Humanitarian Summit.
